Jimo Chhayan-The ethno-folk musical album which contains 5 different colloquial dialects of Assam, was released admits the Deori indigenous community in The 18th North East Book Fair 2016, organised by All Assam Publishers and Book Sellers Association in Assam Engineering Institute playground,Chandmari Assam in collaboration with noted political journalist Chaya Moni Bhuyan from News Live Channel.

'Jimo-Chhayan', means 'the children of the sun and the moon'.The Deori or Deuri are one of the major ethnic tribes of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam, India. They historically live in the upper plains or hinterland of the Brahmaputra Valley. The Deori tribe belongs to the Sino-Tibetan family of Mongoloid stock.
